Terms and Conditions for Sundara Healing Retreat Fundraising Campaign
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the participation in the Sundara Healing Retreat fundraising campaign, a project Les Johnson developed. By participating in this campaign, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before contributing.
2. Campaign Overview
This campaign aims to raise funds to build the Sundara Healing Retreat, a wellness sanctuary focused on mental health, holistic healing, and reconnecting with nature. The funds will go towards building retreat facilities, a wellness centre, and healing courses and workshops.
3. Contributions
Contributions are voluntary and made on a donation basis. The fundraising campaign is hosted on ljhealth.au/retreat, and all contributions will be processed through this platform.
- Minimum Contribution: The minimum contribution is $25.00
- Rewards: Depending on the contribution level, backers may receive various rewards as detailed on the campaign page. Rewards are not guaranteed and are contingent on the successful completion of the campaign.
- Refund Policy: Contributions are non-refundable.
4. Use of Funds
Funds raised through this campaign will be used for the construction and development of the Sundara Healing Retreat as outlined on the campaign page, including:
- Building retreat facilities and training areas
- the construction of the paths and the roadway
- Treatment rooms, and accommodation for weekend retreats.
- Developing the wellness centre
- Offering healing courses and workshops
- Operating costs for the retreat’s initial stages
We reserve the right to use any excess funds for the expansion and improvement of the retreat and its services. A detailed breakdown of how funds will be spent will be available to investors upon request.
5. Campaign Duration
This campaign will run from 1st of February 2025 to Completion. The funds will be collected and managed according to the terms of the project. If the campaign is successful, construction will begin in May 2025, and the estimated completion is August 2025, Earlier funds permitting.
6. Eligibility to Participate
By participating in this campaign, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old (or have permission from a legal guardian if under 18)
- Are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
- Have the financial means to contribute to the campaign
7. Backer Responsibilities
By contributing, you agree to the following:
- To provide accurate information when making a contribution, including your name, contact details, and shipping address (if applicable).
- To ensure that your payment method is valid and will be honored by your bank or financial institution.
- To keep your backer profile up to date with any changes in personal details for reward fulfillment (if applicable).
8. Rewards Fulfillment
- Reward Availability: Rewards will be fulfilled upon successful funding and will be delivered within an estimated timeframe as specified on the campaign page. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as shipping or production delays.
- Shipping and Handling: Backers who are entitled to physical rewards (e.g., retreat access, gifts) will be responsible for any applicable shipping costs.
- Customization: Some rewards may be personalized (e.g., custom gemstone jewellery). We will make every effort to fulfil these requests based on availability and donor specifications.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content related to the Sundara Healing Retreat fundraising campaign, including logos, images, and written material, is owned by the Sundara Healing Retreat and protected by copyright laws. Backers are not authorised to use, reproduce, or distribute this content without our permission.
10. Risks and Disclaimers
- No Guarantee of Completion: While the goal of the campaign is to create a sustainable retreat, external factors such as economic downturns, construction delays, or unforeseen challenges may impact the project timeline. We will communicate updates and any changes to the backers regularly.
- No Guarantee of Reward Delivery: While we strive to fulfil all rewards as promised, external factors such as supply chain issues, unexpected delays, or other unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. The Sundara Healing Retreat is not responsible for any such delays or issues.
11. Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information collected during the campaign (e.g., contact details, and shipping addresses) will be used only for the purposes of fulfilling your rewards and communicating campaign updates. Your data will not be shared with third parties under any circumstances, without your consent.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensand, and any disputes arising from this campaign will be resolved under the jurisdiction of a court in Australia].
